For over 30 years, LEAD San Diego has been ensuring San Diego's leaders remain informed, engaged, and connected through our core program called IMPACT San Diego. We are excited to introduce you to our newest graduates at their upcoming graduation and project showcase on Friday, June 8 from 7:30 - 11:00 AM in the Presidential Ballroom at the historic US Grant Hotel. Please join us as we learn about the projects this year's class undertook and celebrate their accomplishments in the community!

About the IMPACT San Diego Program

The 58 members of this year's IMPACT San Diego program have undertaken an extensive journey together over the course of 10 months to uncover a unique perspective on San Diego as an interconnected, interdependent region. The issue-based program provides insight, behind-the-scenes access, and experiential learning of San Diego's most relevant, pressing challenges and opportunities today. Key leaders provide perspective to the class, unpacking issues ranging from the regional economy, K-12 education, arts & culture, law & society, the military, and more.

In addition to broad-based and in-depth regional learning, the program also provides an opportunity for a hands-on experience in San Diego communities to which class members may not otherwise have access through the Leadership Action Team initiative. The class is grouped into six teams, each partnered with a local nonprofit agency that is providing critical service to the community. During their LEAD experience, class members work with their agency to meet a specific need, such as creating a marketing or development plan. These projects will be showcased at the class graduation on June 8.
