THE LEAD ALUMNI ASSOCIATION COUNCIL PRESENTS ONE IN A SERIES OF HOT TOPICS

 OUR REGION 2050:

The Next Generations' San Diego

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. IF YOU STILL WISH TO ATTEND, PLEASE CALL THE LEAD SAN DIEGO OFFICE AT 619.280.5323 OR REGISTER AT THE DOOR.

What will the San Diego region look like in the next 35 years? Where will we live and work? How will we get around? Attend to explore what the future of our region may look like.

It is anticipated the San Diego region will add one million people between now and 2050 – a 30 percent increase in population. Where is the growth anticipated to occur throughout the region, and what are the long-range plans to accommodate that increase?

Our speaker will be Clint Daniels, Manager of Regional Models for SANDAG, San Diego's regional planning agency.

Attendees will enjoy an overview of SANDAG’s San Diego Forward: The Regional Plan, a blueprint leading to livable, workable and playable communities. During this HOT TOPICS program, you will also learn:

  • which neighborhoods will see the most growth
  • where the jobs will be located
  • how we will get around
