THE LEAD ALUMNI ASSOCIATION COUNCIL PRESENTS THE SIXTH IN A SERIES OF HOT TOPICS - OUR REGION 2050

  OUR REGION 2050:

 CYBERSECURITY

Will our region be able to keep up with the projected explosive growth in all things cyber?

Don't miss your chance to hear from the experts!

San Diego is poised to experience explosive growth in all things cyber. A critical area that may slow this growth is the availability of sufficient cyber professionals to support it. Each year, our colleges and universities produce adequate numbers of skilled cyber graduates. Additionally, the military transitions large numbers of potential cyber professionals right here in the region. The problem is we're not keeping them here. Please join us as we explore the issues and potential solutions to this serious need.

Facilitator and speaker:

  • RADM (Ret) Kenneth D. Slaght, Co-Chair & President, Cyber Center of Excellence
Additional speakers:
  • Pat Sullivan (14), Executive Director, SPAWAR
  • Gary Hayslip, Deputy Director, Chief Information Security Officer, City of San Diego & Co-Chair, CyberTECH
  • Liane Monaco Christensen, MBA, Campus College Chair, College of Information Systems and Technology, University of Phoenix
