A Pension Forum

Public pensions have become a political issue across the nation as the economic downturn has squeezed state and local government budgets. San Diego is grappling with how to close the growing budget gap while successfully resolving this critical issue. What does a 401k-style pension entail? Are public employee pensions the reason for government deficits? What would happen if we stay the course?

In this Hot Topic educational program Editor Andrew Donohue will moderate a robust discussion unveiling the complexities of pensions. The confirmed panelists include:  April Boling, Vladimir Kogan, Lani Lutar, and Michael J. Zucchet.
